Nadine Taieb//נאדין טייב
Born in Paris. Studied art at Vincennes University, and Art Deco.
Background of photography and interior design.
Immigrated to Israel 28 years ago. Was dazzled by the bright light in this country and the contrast between light and shade.
I rented my first studio in Raanana 14 years ago. I paint in acrylic and oil. I have studied with various teachers as well as a year at Beit Berl. I have exhibited 4 times in Israel, at my studio in Raanana, in Haifa, in Caesaria, in Ramat Hasharon,
And 2 times in Kiriat Hamelacha with the artists of Tel Aviv.
My inspiration most of time comes from my photos of landscapes that I take while driving. As a result they are very often blurred and these are the ones I prefer. There is always a static element that catches the eye, an anchor point witness
of the passing time. I also paint portraits.
Sometimes I paint from my imagination and I love to play with colors and leave my hand free of control.
Painting for me is to breathe freedom that opens new spaces
Inside, a kind of meditation.
